The Regional Business Partner Network (RBPN) is a business support service jointly funded by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise and Callaghan Innovation.

Our current courses are designed to assist New Zealand businesses like yours by providing the tools for steady growth and success, however that may look for you.

COVID-19 Business Advisory Fund

The Government is continuing to provide support to small and medium businesses through the COVID-19 outbreak by paying for advisory services during the global pandemic.

Your business may be eligible to receive funding for a registered service with 100% government funding up to the value of $5,000 excluding GST.

5th Green can help you with:

  • Cash Flow Forecasting and Cash Management:  To provide you with a clear future view on the likely cash position of your business and tools and advice to improve it
  • Cost Reduction & Efficiency Gains:  A focus on reviewing the existing cost structure of your business, with an emphasis on the ‘big picture’ to ensure that as costs are turned off your business isn’t impacted in other ways
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and Cost Reduction:  This course combines the outcomes of the two previous courses to distil the critical and key aspects

Management Capability Development Fund

Through this fund, small and medium businesses may qualify for vouchers to help pay for services such as training working shops, courses and coaching that will enhance the management capabilities of business owners and operators.

Vouchers will be issued to cover 50% of the course cost to a maximum amount of $5,000 excluding GST per voucher.

  • Business & Financial Management Literacy:  Designed to help business owners grasp the basic financial concepts of running a business, and looking at your business through a financial lens to ultimately build the critical and strategic thinking skills required to operate a successful company

The course is structured in three parts:

  • Change:  Learn how to clean up your financial records and make your bookkeeping easier and more efficient
  • Run: Understand the key monthly activities that your business needs to stay on track, including managing fixed assets, running depreciation, and cash flow forecasting
  • Improve:  Lift your thinking pattern to become strategic and financially data-driven to align with the long-term goals of your business
